Influencer price calculator

Enter an Instagram account’s followers, engagement rate and audience country to estimate what a feed post, a Reel and a Story cost. The estimate is in US dollars, built from published rate reports and ad prices and adjusted by where the account’s engagement stands in the infloo catalogue. It is a starting point for a budget, not a quote: each result shows how it was worked out.

Estimated price

In US dollars: an estimate, not a quote.

Feed post
$380–960
Reel
$500–1,200
Story, one frame
$190–480

Micro creators in the United States in the infloo catalogue: median ER 1.19% (332 accounts with an ER). An ER of 1.19% is in their middle half, so it does not move the estimate. Data as of October 1, 2026. benchmarks

How we got this: 40,000 followers × $9.6–24 per 1,000 followers × 1 (United States) × 1 (engagement rate) ≈ $380–960 for a feed post.

Not included: paid use of the content in the brand’s ads, exclusivity, production and travel.

How we estimate

infloo has no prices of its own: creators set them, and deals are private. So the estimate takes four steps, each from a source you can check.

1. The US rate per 1,000 followers

The price of a feed post in the United States, as we read the prices that published rate reports give for accounts of each size. The reports differ by several times, so these rates are a starting point, not market prices. The rate per 1,000 followers falls as an account grows. Between the points below it changes smoothly with the logarithm of the follower count, so the rate does not jump at 10,000 or 100,000 followers; above 10,000,000 followers it stays at that point’s rate.

FollowersPer 1,000 followersFeed post
1,000$15–40$15–40
10,000$12–30$120–300
100,000$8–20$800–2,000
1,000,000$5–12$5,000–12,000
10,000,000$2–6$20,000–60,000

2. The format

A Reel costs 1.3 times a feed post and one Story frame 0.5 times, the ratios rate reports give.

3. The country

Brands pay for an audience’s attention, and the price of an Instagram ad shows what that attention costs in each country. Creator prices differ between countries less than ad prices, so a country’s coefficient is the square root of its ad price over the US one, each the middle of its range. The square root is our assumption.

CountryInstagram ad, per 1,000 impressionsCoefficient
United States$20–281
United Kingdom$13–170.79
Germany$10–140.71
France$9–130.68
Spain$7–100.6
Italy$6.5–9.50.58
Portugal$5.5–80.53
Brazil$3.5–5.50.43
Mexico$3–50.41
Turkey$3–50.41
Argentina$2.5–4.50.38
Indonesia$2.5–40.37
Ukraine$2–40.35
India$1.5–2.80.3

4. The engagement rate

This is the one step that uses infloo’s data. The account’s engagement rate is compared with the creators of its size in its country in the latest monthly benchmarks: in their bottom quarter the estimate is multiplied by 0.75, in their top quarter by 1.25, and in between it stays as it is. Where the benchmarks have no row for that size in that country, the comparison is that size worldwide, then the country’s creators.

The result is rounded to two significant figures: the sources are no more precise than that.

How infloo measures engagement and builds the benchmarks: the methodology.

What moves the price

Niche

Finance, B2B and health creators usually ask more than lifestyle ones: their audiences are harder to reach and closer to buying.

Usage rights

The price covers the creator’s own post. Running the content in the brand’s ads or keeping it on the brand’s channels is paid for separately.

Exclusivity

A promise not to work with competitors for a while costs extra, and more the longer it lasts.

Production

A shoot with a studio, props or travel is added to the rate.

Package

A bundle of posts, Reels and Stories usually costs less than the same pieces bought one by one.

Negotiation

A rate is asked, not fixed: the final price often lands below the first quote.

Questions

How much do influencers charge per post?

By our estimate, a feed post in the United States costs about $120–300 from an account with 10,000 followers, $800–2,000 from one with 100,000 and $5,000–12,000 from one with a million. In other countries it costs less: about $340–860 for 100,000 followers in Brazil. These are estimates from published rate reports, not quotes: enter an account above to see how its own is worked out.

How much does a micro-influencer cost?

Micro-influencers have 10,000 to 100,000 followers. In the United States we estimate a feed post from them at $120 to $2,000, rising with the follower count. In other countries the country’s coefficient lowers it, and the account’s engagement rate moves it either way.

Why do influencer prices differ by country?

Brands pay for an audience’s attention, and it costs more in some countries than in others: an Instagram ad costs about $24 per 1,000 impressions in the United States and $4.5 in Brazil. Creator prices differ less than ad prices, so we take the square root of that ratio: a creator in Brazil costs 0.43 of the price of one in the United States with the same audience, and in Germany 0.71.

How does the engagement rate affect the price?

Followers who like and comment more are worth more to a brand. We compare the account’s engagement rate with the creators of its size in its country in the infloo catalogue (where the benchmarks have no row for them, with its size worldwide or all the creators of its country): in their bottom quarter the estimate is multiplied by 0.75, in their top quarter by 1.25. A very high engagement rate is worth checking before you pay: likes and comments can be bought.

Are Reels more expensive than posts?

Yes. Rate reports put a Reel above a feed post, since it takes more work and reaches further, and one Story frame below it. The calculator multiplies the price of a post by 1.3 for a Reel and by 0.5 for a Story frame.

Where do the numbers come from, and how fresh are they?

The US rates are our reading of the prices published in Collabstr 2026 Influencer Marketing Report, Modash: Influencer pricing, Later: Influencer pricing benchmarks 2026. These sources differ by several times, so treat the result as a starting point, not a quote. The ad prices come from Adligator: Meta Ads CPM by Country 2026 (March 31, 2026). Last checked against these sources: October 2026. We check them again every year. The engagement comparison uses the infloo benchmarks as of October 1, 2026.

Do I need to sign up?

No. The calculator is free, needs no account and does not use up the free account lookups: it looks up no account.
